Does It Make Anyone Else Nervous...
...the way Cortez looks to the heavens after every kick, almost as if it's a miracle and even he can't believe he actually made the kick?
Doesn't really inspire a lot of confidence in me.
Just wondering...

If he kneels down and starts praying BEFORE the kick, I'll start to get concerned.

Would you rather he jump up and down and blow a knee out like one of the Gramatica brothers?
Besides it's no worse when Emmitt would score a touchdown and have to do a quick prayer before celebrating.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

Its a Catholic thang. You wouldnt understand.
I've got a prayer on my desk. It says, "Dear Lord, I pray that my place will never be with the cold, timid souls who do not compete yet criticize, for they never know or feel success or failure."

Nope not at all. If that is his thing, it's his thing.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

When he choked his way out of SF he didn't pray. Maybe this is a good thing.
I am sure god has nothing better to do than to worry about him hitting field goals in a preseason game.

That's because it IS a miracle when he does make them.

Some of you guys didn't like Cundiff for some of his misses, then you should go back and look at Cortez in SF. He was horrid to say the least!

I already told his parents about the situation, so I think they will.
