Default All I care about right now is...

How is Ware?

I am assuming he is ok based on his play after he got banged up, but I still need to hear he is OK.

he was limping quite a bit...hopefulyl he is fine, but it was stupid by Parcells and deHaven to have him out on punt returns as a blocker

I heard Christi Scales on the radio broadcast talking about Ware after the game. She said that he got hit by a helmet right above his hip. Ware told her that he had trouble getting loose after that and was pretty sore after the game. Nothing serious though I assume. She also said Petitti was really struggling to get around after the game because his ankle was very sore. He is obviously gutting it out, but apparently his ankle is still bothering him.

Ware recorded a sack after his "injury." The same injury he walked off the field (with no help) with. He'll be fine.

Like jlust said, basically a hip pointer. He's going to be just fine.

Thanks for the info.

Pettiti looks to be the complete opposite of Rogers.

I hope he will be ok, he seems to be coming on.

I did not see the whole game, but what I caught on NFL Network he seemed to be doing pretty good, even after his ankle was bothering him.

???

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Bill said in the post-game Press Conference Thompson and other young rookies who were dinged were looking to get out ...Tyson was tipping his helmet but Bill said no..gotta learn to play with pain in the NFL..the exception is if it was serious to the point of further injury but these were not.

While your observation would generally be valid, I can testify from personal experience that it ain't always the case...

Back when I was a junior in high school, tryouts for the basketball team were conducted in the course of a fall intramural league... toward the end of the season, I was lookin' good for a slot on the team, then in the next to the last game, I got my foot stomped on down inside (being short, all the men I guarded tried to take me down low and post up)...

At halftime, I had the foot examined, and was told it was likely broken... I made the trainer put my shoe back on (that hurt like a MOTHER), and went out and scored 12 in the second half...

And the next morning, gettin' on the bus to school, some other kid stepped on the same foot... by noon, I was in a cast... turns out it WAS broken...

Adrenaline is an amazing thing, it can help you ignore some pretty serious boo-boos...

And better down the road for having been pushed through this instead of coddled.

The message is sent that if you are a 1st round pick or a 6th round pick, get your a$$ on the field. I'm perfectly fine with that.

I agree. How quickly we forget the Campo era when half of the team was playing grabass in the trainers room instead of out on the field getting better.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

Exactly... I have no doubt that Julius wouldn't be nearly the player he's going to be if he'd been coached by Campo or probably most other coaches in the league. The treatment he got from Parcells last year really toughened him up.

It wasn't even a hip pointer. According to one of the DC.com articles he got a helmet to his a**.

He's got a bruised butt. Now quit your crying about him having to actually PLAY FOOTBALL with a bruised but, on defense or special teams.
