We go 9-7 and make the playoffs and then lose in the first round.

9-7, 10-6, that sounds about good to me. If we make the playoffs and have something to build on, that would be great. I think if Bledsoe can play somewhat consistantly, and the Rookies come on nicely, I think we're good to go. I wouldn't even be surprised if we find ourself at .500 around the half way point, only to turn it on later. Week 9 Bye is pretty good I think for us this year.

I think we usually have a bye on either the 1st or 2nd bye week of a season. At least it seems like it to me.
