We pass on what where conside rthe best two backs but not one of them where rated high to begin with.

Lets see I do not see where SJ came out rated on the level of Edgrin James; Ricky Williams; LT or any other back that has been rated in the top 5 in the draft.

Heck I do not see what all the crying is about almost all the backs in this draft where bunched toghter and we got a solid prospect and may come out better in the long run.

The problem here is you are looking for instant gratifcation where bill is looking for the long term

This is the second time JJ & Bill had warned you and you chose to ignore it.

They said we would not rush out in FA we did not you acted like the world was coming to an end.

They said they would trade down for more picks because we need more depth on this team.

Guess what we added more picks this year and next. Bill is building a young team and a strong one. yet here we go fans looking for that instant gratifcation of now

Actually, in January, Parcells said he was going to be active in free agency. When did they say they were going to trade down?

Bill told us not to assume we where going to add who everyone thought we add

They also warned about not over paying

Bill said he did not llike having only 5 picks and we would fine a way to add more

Now moving on, I think when all is said and done the "master" plan will be quite evident. Personally, I thought the trade today was awful...

The positives that come out of this... It sure looks like Bill is in it for the long haul...a very good thing indeed.

And, I also acquired a second favorite team for next season: Whatever team is playing against Buffalo.

That's news to me. Parcells hasn't said much of anything publicly this offseason. But since you're dialed in to Valley Ranch...

Although a fellow NY'er, I've never had the time to root against the Bills because I've been too busy rooting against the Giants. I guess I'll have to make time in my schedule.

Thank you sir...I'll go check it out...from what I've read, he's got huge upside potential but is always dinged with injuries....he also looks like he could add 30 pounds to his frame with no problem.

Oh, I still dislike Buffalo from the Super Bowl years...it's just that they have become irrelevant...not any longer though.
