Default Great ..Great.... Win...But

Great win people....I am ecstatic...ecstatic!!

BUT

I have some questions that need solutions:

1) Why in the world not use the Shotgun with Drew?
2) How on God's Green earth was McCardell so Wide open all day? HOW? There was no Gates to worry about.
3) Did Roy Williams really do enough or did he just have some flash shots for the camera?
4) How does Greg Ellis let Drew Brees push him outside...I despise Greg Ellis...what a soft - overrated overpaid stiff.
5) How long till T New is moved to the Nickle and Glenn takes his job.
6) We need a KR big time

Otherwise I'm happy...

A good win but I still see a lot of what I saw on defense last year:
1) lack of pass rush without the blitz
2) Wide open WRs over the middle
3) Newman playing too far off his man

These areas must improve or else this defense will be about as effective as last year. I'm excited about the win but Parcells cannot be happy.

What cup?
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.

God help us...............

I agree with everyting BA said! Especially the comment about Ellis being blocked by Brees! Am I starting to think like him?

Where's the razor blades, I am soooo depressed!

While the game was in progress, you didn't acknowledge how well some of the players you criticized were playing--in particularly, Roy Williams. You can't have it both ways.

In my book, that makes you a troll.

Otherwise I'm happy...

I was furious when I saw Ellis not going for the ball carrier and then let Drew push him out of the way. Who knows. I was really put off by that. How do you let that lil pipsqueek QB push you out of the play?

Roy had some great plays. He was knifing through on alot of plays and killing LT in the backfield or just out on the parimeter before LT could turn it on. I thought he did fine.

Glenn was fun to watch. I was praying on that last ball tossed by Breese into the EZ. Then Glenn came up w/ it. I was going crazy.

I dont understand MaCardell getting so open. He is a heady WR tho. Real veteran. He knew exactly what he was doing when plays were breaking down. Alot of his was sandlot w/ Breese from what I saw.

I've got a prayer on my desk. It says, "Dear Lord, I pray that my place will never be with the cold, timid souls who do not compete yet criticize, for they never know or feel success or failure."

Dude, what the hell are you even doing here?

You were all to happy after that first Chargers TD to jump on here and talk smack about how we were all wrong for being optimistic and then, the second we tied the game, you were nowhere to be seen. You ran away until San Diego tied the game then took the lead to come back here and create a couple of new threads knocking the Cowboys again. That my friends is what we call a Troll.

Accept No Substitute
