What if we had a rematch against SD at the end of this season?

No, I'm not talking about meeting them in the Super Bowl.
Just consider if we were divisional opponents and faced SD towards the end of the season. Sure they would have Gates back, but considering they had 20 out of 22 other returning starters on the field today how much more of "their best" would we have got?
On the other hand our team would have a great deal more experience and we Payton would have developed plays and packages for both Crayton and Price and Polite/Pettiti would be seasoned as well.
Just food for thougt about the potential growth for this team.
