Against the worst D in the league?

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

As usual, the death of the Eagles was greatly exagerated.

Give the Eagles credit. I do not think the Rams got nearly 600 yards on the 9ers and no way we will either. The Eagles needed to win that game cuz 0-2 woulda put them in a hole. They came and they won. 600 yards offense is really good no matter who you play in the NFL.

After those 7 sacks against the Rams week one I admit I was a little hopeful....that somebody would plant a couple of helmets in ole DFats sternum.
