Default If Tyson Thompson dresses tonight...

... imagine you grew up within sight of Texas Stadium, passing it everyday, admiring it, dreaming. Imagine your idols were guys named Aikman, Smith, and Irvin. Imagine being an undrafted free agent somehow defying all odds and making it as a Dallas Cowboy under legendary future HOF coach Bill Parcells. Imagine that you are activated for the home opener, against the arch-rival Redskins, on Monday Night Football, on the night your idols are to be inducted into the ring of honor. We win the toss, the kick return team is before you, the lights are upon you, the whistle blows.... Tyson, this night you will not forget.

.. and if he doesn't dress, imagine how he will spend the night (or his life) thinking ...

If it does happen hopefully he won't be too awe struck or nervous to play.

I hope he replaces Barber on KO returns...
Give him a seam & he could be GONE!

Considering his Cinderella story, etc., I would like to at least see him get to suit up for this game...who knows though.

I have not been impressed with Barber he seems to run straight up the field for about 10 yards and it's over, give the man a chance!!

So far, Barber hasn't shown me a thing, and while I realize that it's still early in the season, I hope we don't wait too much longer before giving Thompson a chance.

Take this info for what it's worth but I was at a auto shop earlier and a lady who knows Tyson was text-messaged that not only is Tyson dressing but Parcells plans to have him returning kickoffs.

Again, take it for what it's worth because I didn't know her but she didn't seem like the kind of person to lie about it, so if true I'm rooting for the kid. She did note that Tyson is usually talkative but today he's very subdued, "Yes, no" answers. Most likely the kids nervous.

Barber seemed to fumble the ball over a lot in the preseason and training camp. I don't remember Tyson fumbling the ball once. That's not saying he didn't, but if he did I don't remember it.
