Default Concerned about Drews arm?

Drew threw a lot of nervous looking passes tonight. He short armed and over threw a lot of them tonight. Also, I noticed that he abandons the play quite quickly. I guess he is not capable of buying time to wait for a receiver to get open so if the designed play isn't there initially, he's throwing the ball away.

Our 'O' line gave him a lot of time to pass and I refuse to believe that non of our receivers could get open.

his arm looked good at times, suspect at others. He threw 3 one hoppers as I remember. But then again hit Terry Glenn in stride on the flea flicker.

Bledsoe has looked good at the start of other years only to fade halfway through. That is what the rest of the NFC East is banking on. I don't think the Skins have the offense to last the year...I think it is looking like Eagles/Giants for the division right now. I thought Cowboys but after tonight...I am having doubts.

MY GOD!! "He holds and pats the ball too much and that results in too many sacks". WHAT???? So now he throws it away instead of patting the ball and taking the sack! GOOD GRIEF! Only TDs, Alice, only TDs!!!!!!..........whatever.........

Bledsoe played well.

He threw it away when it wasn't there.

He has no turnovers yet.

This game was in no way Bledsoe's fault.
If anything, he did what was necessary to win.

The game was lost by bad coverage on the same play... twice.

I actually think that maybe they watched last week's film and told Bledsoe to get rid of the ball quicker. Against SD, Bledsoe held on to the ball a lot of times when it seemed he should throw it away. Today, Bledsoe must have expected lots of blitz and had predetermined to throw the ball away when the timer went off in his head. So, for me, the good thing about this is that Drew does have a 3 second timer in his head and can choose if and when he wants to ignore it.

Drew's passes looked bad at the end of the game, perhaps his arm was a little dead at that point. The one hopper he threw and that last pass to Key looked like he couldnt get anything on it and came out funny. I think his arm was definitely feeling it at that point. I just hope it was fatigue and not an injury.

Yeah... Yeah.... I know. I saw it as well. However, he threw balls that would have made QC blush. Also, his stats look really good for this game but when we needed him to play big and make the throws that his ARM is capable of making, he seemed to come up short on a few of them.

Also, he seemed to panick in the pocket prematurely. He threw the ball away when no one was around him. Too much coaching before the game I say.

Are you a child? You keep blamming Roy when Roy had his own responsibilities on a 4th down play.

Even BP blamed it on Glenn both times - if it were 2nd and 14 then I would agree with you - but on 4th and 14, your coordinator is trying to take away the middle of the field where it's the easiest to get 12/15/ 20 yards.

But looking at Bledsoe, Bledsoe short armed the damn ball the entire second half.

And if you're not concerned about that, then you don't know football.

It was a hot muggy night. The ball may have slipped a little right before the release.
