Would You Trade Henson for Vick?
I know there are folks who love Vick, those who think he's way over-rated, and similarly those pumped up about Henson and those who are very apprehensive.
This would probably best be done in a poll. But I don't know how to do that and am too hurried (or lazy ) to learn how. If someone feels compelled to do so for me... be my guest.
Would you trade Henson for Vick and what throw-ins on either side do you think would be required?

I'd make that trade in a NY minute.
Henson has potential to be great, Vick is great.

Given that I know what Vick can do and I don't know what Henson can do, I would take Vick in a second.

The falcons woudnt ever do that. To be honest, no team would give up a Qb for henson nor a first or second round pick. Thats why we got Henson for a 3rd, he has potential but so those every player in the draft rounds 1-4

Could we actually see Henson play first?
Nors wanted to trade him for a first round pick, so we could DRAFT a QB with one of our 3 firsts in 2005.
Now let's trade him for Vick.
A better question, would you trade Carter for Vick?

I love the way Vick runs the ball but as a true QB not impressed at all. As for a trade I would have to see Henson in action before I could say yes or no

Exactly!
Or better yet Ogden for J. Rogers
Some just won't be satisfied until the Cowboys get their golden boy back.

Golden Boy? please explain....... Myself I think Vick is excellent at running the ball but his mechanics suck as a QB and even Atlanta staff is working with Vick to be more patient in the passing game. As Montana said 1 week before Vick got hurt, "If he continues to run like he has been, he will not help the falcons because he is going to get hurt". Vick is a great athlete but he has a lot to learn yet about being a QB in the NFL and if he does not learn this I'm affraid he will not have a very long career.

If given the opportunity to trade Henson for Vick today, I would do it with out hesitation. Vick, IMO, can be a great QB in this league. He brings a lot to the table. I would not say that he is a great passer but he can be. Henson has not started one game as of yet and anybody would be a fool to pass that trade up right now. Having said that, Henson could become better then Vick. IMO, coming out of Michigan, he had better skills for the position but it's all relative.

Golden boy huh?
The question put forth was not worth the time it took to type it.
Funny how these what if threads always involve Henson and are put forth in a "WELL DUH" manner.
Would you trade a rookie QB, that's been out of footbal for 3 years for a former #1 pick who is the most athletic player at his position? Does this question serve a purpose? Or an agenda?
But it's the HATERS that cause the trouble.
