Default Pettiti vs. Young

The rest of the game aside, how do you think our young lineman will fair against a solid player like Bryant Young?

This is a true test. This kid is progressing so fast, there's no telling how he will do. To early to ask for a break out game?

I think Pettiti is coming on so strong, is so young and powerful, that he will break out earlier than anyone expected. Old man Young going to have a tough day.

Yes, but he'll see Pettiti quite a bit. Dallascowboys.com has an article discussing the same thing.

Young is playing DE in San Fran's 3-4

Young's best days are behind him......

Should be a wash

I think he'll do fine (Pettiti).... As Mash said, Young's best days are WAY behind him.

I thought Young had 3 sacks at this point. I noticed some highlights by him and thought maybe he was having a little resurgance. May be a tough matchup and good experience for Rob. But Rob will maul him

Young had a great game against the Rams but struggled against Philly. I think Petitti will do a very good job against him today. Still, it will be a real test for him going up against a guy of Young's caliber.
Captain Nathan Brittles: "Only the man who commands can be blamed. It rests on me... mission failure!"

"Jerry Jones is a billionaire fan who bought his own team for the express purpose of buying his way into the game. He wants to hang out with the players, stand in front of the cameras, be the face of the team (yech), make personnel moves as if this were a video game, and more than anything else, be seen as the guy who made it all happen."

Hard to imagine Bryant going the entire game without making a play or two.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

that is how you learn: go up against good players. A 12 year vet has learned about as much as there is- he is going to give Pettiti all he can handle.
