Sup, Bluefin. Haven't seen you in a while. Did you and Silverbear migrate over here at the same time?
Well, well, well.
Mr. Rack, long time no see indeed.
I've started posting a little more over here to take a break from the Taco's and Bob53's of the other board.
I was welcomed by one of the regulars who asked me to invite Bear over, so I did.
Offense: Antonio Bryant (I can't be wrong about him two years in a row, can I?)
I was hoping to see AB become the lead receiver last year and Fingers let me down, only Gurode was a bigger disappointment in my eyes on offense.
If Bryant will just go out on the field and play the way he's capable of, he'll be a starter and a big playmaker for the Cowboys.
I'd love to see AB and Johnson competing to be Carter's favorite target with each pushing the other to play the hardest, but that's a compustible tandem and it remains to be seen if Bryant can be bridled.
Defense: Greg Ellis. He won't be "great" but he'll have his best season ever. I predict he'll get 12 sacks this year.
How big was it to re-sign my Tarheel during the season last year (7yrs, 21 million, 4.2 bonus)?
Look at the money that Ellis would've gotten on the open market, the Seahawks paid Grant Wistrom like he was an All-Pro.
Ellis is a good candidate to emerge as more of a hosehold name with a double digit sack season.
Hard to believe we have to go all the way back to '96 to find a Cowboy with double digit sacks (Tolbert with 12).
Dallas needs more sacks and a lot more pressure this year to increase interceptions.
13 picks last year was unacceptable from such a talented unit.
