Default On Bledsoe's 2nd INT

Did anyone think SF interferred with Glenn prior to the INT ?

Not me.

It was a hell of a pick either way though.

True, it was a great catch.

I was talking about the other guy though.

It looked like the defender hit Glenn early so I would have to say yes it looked like it to me.

Yep. When it happened, I said that the San Fran guy interfered with the WR before the ball ever got there.

It was a great interception, but the other guy should've been called for PI.

I said the same thing when I saw it. Glenn was hit before the ball got there. It was a hell of a pick, but pi should have been called.

It was close but then again I think defenders should have the right to go for the ball as well, both players were going for the ball

Yes, there should of/could of been a pass interference penalty called on that play.

The INT certainly wasn't Bledsoe's fault...great play by the defense.

When a defender is making a play for the ball, then it's not interference.
It was a great interception by Parrish. Fortunately, it didn't cost us.

Good play by both 49ers DBs, one to go up for the ball and deflect it and the other to catch it and get his feet in. Glenn isn't going to win very many jump balls. That isn't his game. (Neither is breaking tackles to get past the 1st down marker. I thought outrunning DBs was his game, but apparantly on the 50 yarder, he didn't think he was fast enough.) Really, the interception was partially a bad decision on Bledsoe to throw it because Glenn wasn't open, a poor throw in that it was high and if anything should have been higher so it could have just been incomplete and a good defensive play.

The throw was a back shoulder fade, which the Cowboys have used routinely in preseason and early this season. Act like you're running the go route while the QB throws the ball behind the WR. The WR stops for the ball, while the CB continues to progress upfield. You're supposed to throw it when the player is covered, because he doesn't make his move until the ball is in the air. Its also a good play to run with Glenn, because the CB is likely cheating deep and will bite. It was a very good guess or read by the DB that broke it up.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

Bad throw, good play by the corner and a great play to pick it off.

Just watched it, that first guy grabbed Glenn. At the very least I'd call it defensive holding, if not PI. It still was a bad throw/ good play by the second guy.

Yes it did.

We had just made up for Parcells' mistake on the fake punt with a turnover and then gave them the ball right back, and they scored on the drive.
