Both of the Raiders OLB's are converted DE's that go roughly 6'6 280 each. Seems like Witten should have a field day. also should see more passes to JJ out of the backfield. Running inside is going to be tough with sapp and washington at DT.

I didn't realize Oakland's OLBs are that big. Who are they anyway? That's very large, and would seemingly make the middle of the field the place to be for Key and Witten all day.

The only one i know of thats a DE convert is Tyler Brayton, and he doesn't seem all that quick to me. A little bit of a reach in the first round if i remember correctly.

If the Raiders play Witten like they play Tony Gonzalez twice a year, they will put a Saftey on him.

Woodson spent alot of time on Gonzalez a couple of weeks ago. They can't afford to do that against us.

Raiders went to a 3-4 last year and did not have the defensive linemen for that defense , but they got the backers for it .

Now this year they went back to the 4-3 and now have the right linemen but not the right linebackers.

this is part of the reason for the Raiders defense being some what of a mess.

They bring in different linebackers for passing situations, so Witten should be most effective on 1st downs or 2nd and short

Both Jones and Witten should have big games recieving. The Cowboys should also target Terry Glenn deep to keep the safeties honest. Even if the Raiders use a safety on Witten, it should be a mismatch, they don't have a good strong safety. Westbrook toasted Derrick Gibson.

This is how TEs have done against the Raiders so far this season:

Game 1 vs the Pats:

Ben Watson - 2 catches, 55 yards.

Daniel Graham - 1 catch, 17 yards.

I seem to remember them trying to get the ball to Watson a lot, but he either dropped a couple of there was a bad pass or two. Can't remember, but I think he was open most of the night. He runs a 4.4 so he should of been open vs those LBs.

Game 2 vs Kansas City:

Tony Gonzalez - 5 catches, 44 yards.

Game 3 vs the Eagles:

LJ Smith - 5 catches, 50 yards

They've actually done a decent enough job on TEs, especially considering they faced Gonzo. They're probably using the same type of coverage that the Chargers used on Witten in week 1, and it's left their CBs in more one on one situations. If that's the case, I can definitely live with that.

The depth chart says its Tyler Brayton and Grant Irons. Both are listed at 6-6 Brayton is listed at 280 Irons at 285.

What doesnt make any sense is that between the 2 of them they list as having a total of 3 tackles no INTS, no Sacks
