Default IF Cowboys Beat Oakland...!

then they will definately be announcing they are for real this year. Oakland is 0-3, but they have lost to 3 very strong teams.

Cowboys have played 1 strong team and 2 so so teams. If they manage to beat the Raiders they will be showing all what this team is made of.

If Cowboys lose, it will be no big deal, .500 and ready for the next game. But if they win...!

Personally, I think the Cowboys will go 11-5 this year.

I'm glad the Cowboys aren't the clear-cut winners in this game. It seems they come out flat in games they're supposed to win.

I think the Raiders are worse than the Chargers, if we win tomorrow, I would be less impressed than I was week 1.

I havent been impressed with the Raiders this year, they've been sloppy, and inconsistent, and they sport an even worse secondary, woth no run D or pass rush to lean back on.

And their "high powered" offense Averages something like 19 a game. What do we average?

Around 24 ?

If we beat an 0-3 team, people will simply say we beat a team that hasn't won a game yet. If we lose to an 0-3 team, people will say we lost to a team that hadn't won a game until they beat us. This is a no-win situation spin-wise unless we beat them by 25+ points which isn't going to happen.

From an accomplishment standpoint, Oakland is a good team that has played tough teams so far. However, the media, and even worse, fans from other NFC East teams, will likely claim one of the previous spins I mentioned.

For me, if we beat Oakland (I wouldn't care if they were the worst team in the league), we would have a 3-1 record (3-0 on away games) with 3 of our 8 away games already played. Of course, being an optimistic, even if we lose, it will mean that we have a 2-1 record on the road so all we need to do is finish with a 2-3 record on away games to get a 4-4 record which would be acceptable to me. Anything better than 4-4 on road games this year will be a bonus .. at least to me.

If they beat Oakland, they are likely to go 3-1 or 4-0 against the AFC West. So much for AFC domination

We will be 3-1 by tomorrow evening.. Raiders are 0-3 for many reasons, regardless of who they've played. Their D is terrible and they are the most penalized team in the league. That would explain alot of why they are winless and will continue to be winless when the Boyz leave Cali....

Exactly! To the outsiders view of our team a win will not make us look that better and a loss will make them feel we are pretty bad to lose to an 0-3 team and come so close to losing 2 other games. Even though not much would be said about us almost beating the redskins.

As an old friend of mine used to say "Nothing Hard is Ever Easy" and that applies to this game. We will have our hands full beating the Raiders but it is very doable and when we do we will be sitting pretty at 3-1. Philthy had a hard time with the Raiders so beating them would be a sign that we are ready to give the Egirls a run for their money.

I really don't worry too much about how the Deadskins and Egirls fans want to spin things. They know the truth even if they don't admit it.
