Uhhh.....the same one that got us there? What? Are we going to switch just because we got into the playoffs? We aren't the Bills and we don't have Doug Flutie. Anybody else remember that? Big mistake when they did that. They promptly lost the first game after Flutie essentially got them there.

Remember? I will never forget. Good thing to happen to the Bills, but as a Boston College backer, Lil Dougie was my MAN.
That was a freaking SIN.
But Ahh, the immortal Rob Johnson.
He's fooled almost as many coaches as Rick Mirer.

We did the exact same thing with Aikman and Beuerlein after Aikman was injured and Beuerlein led us to a lot of wins and basically got us there. A little bit different I realize, but you play the best guy. Aikman was better. We need to play whomever is better.

Well, supposedly, BP is going to go with the better man. Whoever that is, is fine with me.

Theoretical situation...
Suppose Q is our starter but gets hurt. Vinny leads us to a series of wins that get us there. Playoffs are starting and Q is ready.
Q and Vinny have almost identical results as far as leading the team.
Who do you start once the playoffs arrive?
In my mind that is a seriously tough question. The original starter who might be rusty or the aged veteran who might be tiring.

You are right, that is a seriously tough question. In all honesty, if VT is doing just as well as Q did, then I would leave VT in.
I am not an adherent that you can't lose your job via injury....an either is BP. So I would think that he would go with VT in this instance.
In other instances, you have QB's that are clearly better, and so then, the questions get tougher....or do they?

This will shock you. I put Q back in.
Call me old fashioned but I do subscribe to the "you don't lose your job because of injury." I think that may be why I still give Bledsoe too much credit.
Don't get me wrong, if Tuna kept Vinny in, I'd support it, but in my mind it would be wrong.
