We Are At Least 2 Years Behind The Eagles
We will need at least 2 more good drafts and the Eagles will have to self destruct from within before we can catch them. They have a fairly young QB and an aggressive philosiphy. What bothers me is that it looks like we are not just going to be chasing the Eagles for the next couple of years but the Giants with Manning and the Redskins with their defense and Campbell as well.

What makes you think that? Besides the Pats, they have the best organization in football.
As long as they keep that coaching staff in tact and their Owner keeps on managing the cap, the Eagles will be fine.
But to say we are 2 years away from the Eagle, I dont know about that. Trust me, we have the talent and the players to stand up to them now, but the Coaching staff is letting us down.

How do you figure?
Explain that one.

i'm no longer worried about the eagles, the giants are looking to dominate the division, i was watching manning today and he resembles peyton in the way he throws, moves around in the pocket, it's scary.. i'm actually more worried about playing the giants than the eagles... the giants will win the division this year... i just hope our defense will beable to find an answer for them so they don't dominate in the way the eagles have over the past few years

If they played today, I think the Eagles would smash the Giants. St Louis loss to the Niners and the Giants lost to the Chargers a team we beat.
No doubt the Eagles are still a team to fear. I think only the Falcons are on par with them at this point.
But the Giants are definitely on the rise and Eli Manning is proving yet again, that it is the Quarterback...

I think Sarge is just saying that it is En Vogue to say that about a team that has dominated the division and the conference like they have.
I just dont see any signs of the Eagles slowing down. As long as they have that quarterback, that owner, and those coaches, they aint going anywhere.

Umm, ya ok.
I'm still waiting as to why the Eagles window is closing, other than, because Howie Long says so.
Perhaps you can simply answer the question. No?

Then again, Owens might be there.
Westbrook may re-sign.
As far as them not being on top forever, they haven't even gotten there yet.

mcnabb, while still effective for now, keeps geting beat up.
injuries keep taking their toll.
you can see it coming a mile away.
not to mention that the rest of he division is starting to catch up again.
