Well I got an e-mail from Jerry Green from in Detroit today in response to the above article that I sent him, here was his reply:
"Thanks Kevin. I'm still waiting. It's always a pleasure hearing from a friendly, giddy, big man -- without a brain. I repeat that I voted for Bob Hayes and unfortunately doubt that the Seniors Committee will nominate him again next month. But Charlie Sanders? He deserves to be in. Say hello to your CO. " This guy is a joke... I guess since he wrote in his high school paper he's Mickey Spillane now... (stealing a line from Full Metal Jacket, one of my all time favs) |
