Default We'll Need Our Run D Agasint Seattle.

The Hawks' are playing the horrible Texans, but they are still running all over them.

With 5 Mins left in the game. The Hawks have already ran for 312 yards.

They're abusing the Texans

They just hauled out that 251 pound rookie to wear them down even more.

Oh well, do that next week and Roy can pop the ball from him on the goal line.

We should have.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

First, they played a horrid Texans team the has not won ANY games..there is a reason for this: they stink!!

Now, stop the run, cover the TE and pressure Hassleback = Beat the Seahawks!!!

Reintroduce him to Demarcus and Krew and we are in business..their secondary sucks..shred them Drew!!

Seattle is all about the Run.....I think Seattle depends on the run more than any other team we've faced.

Stop their running game and the game is ours to keep.

Doesn't Shaun Alexander do that everytime he's on SNF? Remember the 5TD first half against the Vikings a couple years back?

I don't know what else the Seahawks want him to show before they fill his wallet.. They're nuts wasting their time. Before you know it, he's gonna tell them to beat it and go find a new team to play for.

Maybe they'll have that "fat cat syndrome" that I've been hearing about. I'm still not impressed by the 'Hawks they (much like the Giants) have benefited more from circumstance than great play. The Texans may be the worst team I have seen in my lifetime. It is quite possible that they end the season at 0-16. That being said, Shaun Alexander is in dire need of attention from the 'Boys D. On the bright side Seahawks are missing their two starting WRs. I'd say this will be another close game decided by a TD or less.

"It's Zimmer's fault!"

When you look at Seattle's wins they aren't very impressive. A close win at home against Atlanta and then Arizona, St. Louis and the Texans. If we keep our heads on straight we should win and hopefully by a wide margin.

The only reason the Giants game was close was our finding ways to turn the ball over but they were mostly fluky plays vs. bad play. Bledsoe's int came after his arm was hit, a fumble off a blind-side swipe was unavoidable, Key's fumble (hmmmm!!) and a bad snap from center.

we are playing well on the road, so that doesn't seem to be a big factor. we have shut down some of the league's best RBs, so that isn't a huge worry. JJ will hopefully return, but at least we have a better grasp of what our backup RBs are capable of. Dat should hopefully return also - we need his experience and playmaking ability. Adams should return, correct? And Price will add a dimension to our offense. so really we should win, unless our coaches are unwilling to open up the playcalling...
one thing i'm sure of - i don't want to see the game hang on Senor Cortez' foot...

Everyone has been running over the Texans. I think Dallas matches up well with Seattle

Seattle has scored 79 pts and has over 900 yds of offense in the last two games, and BOTH starting WR's have missed BOTH games

thats pretty damn impressive...our offense would be in big trouble if we lost both starting WR's...hell we cant even consistently score when they are in there (3 games with one td each out of 6)

they have a tremendous OL and we've been fairly inconsistent stopping the run...and we wont have a chance to win if we cant score more than one TD...

David

A new era begins
