Cowboys fans: let’s show up in force for this game and take away the home field advantage from the Skins, just like we did last year!

But why wait until kickoff? Let’s get started plenty early to show all the Skins fans what they have in store for them.

To that end, I’m hosting a massive Cowboys Tailgate Party starting at 5:00 p.m. in the FedEx Field “Blue” Parking Lot.

Any and all Cowboys fans on this board (and otherwise) are invited to attend.

I’ll have Direct TV set up to watch Monday Night Countdown, as well as a second TV to show historic Cowboys Superbowl videos. I’ll try to provide at least hotdogs and beer for every Cowboys fan that wants to attend, and there will be ample grill and cooler space if you want to contribute your own food and beverage to the cause.

I’m expecting every Cowboys fan on this board from the Washington, Maryland, and Virginia area to make it… as well as everyone flying or driving in for the game.

In the past, game tickets have been available on the street for near face value before the game if you want to show up, party with us for a couple of hours and then try to get tickets just before kickoff.

Respond if you’re thinking of coming to the game, and I’ll PM you with details.

I'd love to go, but I've already made reservations for Baltimore in Nov to attend the Ravens game.

I went to the Cowboys/Redskins game at Fed Ex 2 seasons ago--the only one we've lost lately.

Sure thing Eddie. I'll send reminders and location information to all who are interested when the game gets a little closer.

Only reason I'm posting this early is for the benefit of anyone who might want to make a road trip out of the game... getting tickets and the like.

Count me in.

I usually get tickets from my wife's co-worker who has season tickets and he usually sells me the Dallas tickets at face value. Given Gibbs return that might not be possible this year. But I do plan to buy tickets either on ebay or through a ticket agent if necessary.

There is nothing like watching my boys beat the crap outta the deadskins on Monday night football. Add me to the reminder.

Concerning tickets. I know the Gibbs-era may be a different deal, but two years ago I went to the Monday Night Skins/Eagles game. It was the second game in the Spurrier era after a big week one win. The Skins fans will lie and tell you different, but the excitement was just as high then as it is now.

I went to tailgate with a friend of mine and see if we could pick up tickets right before the game. There were loads of Eagles fans there as well, but we were able to pick up two tickets for face value 15 min before kickoff.

I'd be shocked if you couldn't get tickets at or near face value at the stadium. Worst case scenario, you come and tailgate for a couple of hours and then watch the game on TV and drink beers in the parking lot.

I'll be there as we prepare for the November run up. I may just look you up if I can get over there. Make sure i get the details on where you are. Would love to hang out for a few minutes before the kick off.

hmmm.... I would love to come to a game donning the revered silver and blue at RFK II (or Fedex)...

I may just fly in for that one if I can score some tickets... which airport is most convenient?

Sounds great. We'll have to work on this "few minutes before the kick off" nonsense, though.

I'll be setting up as soon as the parking lots open (4:30 I think) -- so let's change that to a "few hours before the kick off."
