Default Challenging a Point Made by James Brown

He said that the NFC South with 3 teams at 5-2 is just as good as the NFC East.

No freaking way.

To this point in the season here are the winning %s for the teams that the NFC East and South have faced.

First the east...

Dallas, .509
New York, .500
Philadelphia, .558
Washington, .608

The only division with every team's opponents over .500.

Now the South...

Atlanta, .431
Carolina, .340
New Orleans, .490
Tampa Bay, .320

The only division with every team's opponents under .500.

hahahahaha....

The NFC South is no where near as good as the NFC East.

Carolina looks pretty good but as you pointed out has been beating up scrubs.
ATL is solid but unspectacular.
TB is now lost without a QB.
NO is horrid.
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.

Carolina and TB get the easy schedule and NO is sorry, NFC south will show it's true colors in december, and the NFC east will stay on top

I agree. I think the NFC South is the second best division, but some of those teams seem like paper champions. Tampa Bay was shut down by a fairly mediocre team last week. Some of those NFC South teams don't seem like the type where the squad is getting better and ready for the longhaul like the Cowboys or Giants.
