TO to Dallas, a closer look
What part of I'm too old to deal with thugs, don't some of you get?
Just because Parcells might be strong-willed enough to handle TO...that is a big MIGHT IMO...what makes people think he'd want to, even more importantly, why risk it?
We have an older coach, that has had health issues and burn outs in the past, so why make his job that much tougher?
Isn't it smarter to have Parcells around a few years longer, than taking the chance that the strain of keeping Owens in line might be too much?
Think things through people, this ain't Madden football.

Why does everyone think Parcells can handle T.O. so well if he couldn't even handle Antonio Bryant?
I realize T.O is significantly more talented than AB, but if he didn't want AB around, he's not going to want T.O. around.
Plus, if they sign him, it's basically a slap in the face to us fans and some of the players that have been on the team for more than couple of years after what he's done at Texas Stadium.

I won't over-react...I've been a Dallas Cowboys fan for almost 40 years, so I won't turn my back on them over a guy like T.O., but I can honestly say I'd rather lose without him than win with him.
I would be embarrassed to have T.O. on my team, especially since he's not an original Cowboy with a quirk...he'd be a FA that we purposely purchased in hopes of winning. To sign T.O. and win would mean very little to me. To sign him and not win would be a total embarrassment...I could never root for him to do well or for us to get over the top using him.
Remember Deon...how we all hated him before he was a Cowboy, but we respected his play and his teamwork. Deon, even with his crazy talk and self-promotion, was never half the pain-in-the-neck embarrassment to football and the organization that T.O. would be.
I not only hope it never happens, but even if we won a SB with him performing at a high level and behaving himself, I would take no joy in it...none at all.

If TO was a thug you'd have a point...sadly he's not.

Ya know, three years ago, if someone suggested that Parcells and Jerry Jones would be able to work together, the same type of "NO WAY" comments would be made.
Fact of the matter is, it's all speculation about Owens.

We need two lists
List one = who wants TO
List two = who does not want TO.
This will tell me who's post to read and who's not to read.

Juke, I've typed the word speculation more times the last few days than I have in a year.
I wish folks would just stop with the TO to Dallas talk. He's suspended for four weeks and we'll have to hear it for at least that long......

For me it will be a non-issue after the Cowboys game with the ealges. Next week we can bash Rogers with Detriot as well as Harrington. LOL

Well, to my way of thinking, anyone who states an opinion (either way) as more than just that, is being kinda silly.
That's why I mentioned the Parcells/Jones thing.
It's all guess work.

It will be interesting to see what happens but for what its worth, I think TO has much more to offer a team then MEion did when we signed him at that stage of his career...
He helped get one SB but insured we would pay for it in more ways then one afterwords...
