Default Things I'm looking for tonight

After waiting through the bye week and another Sunday without the Cowboys, Here are the things I would like to see:

1. I would like to see us come out swinging. I think the Eagles will come out emotionally high and I would love to see us match this by hitting on some big plays early. If we do this, we will be fine.

2. Relating to point #1, If we do come out swinging, we have to be smart about it, don't take too many risks, we should pick our spots.

3. If the defense can start hitting McNabb early and often, that will be a big plus for us. The defense must not be undisciplined in rushing him, keep him in front of them. Washington did a poor job of this last week.

4. No stupid mistakes, I hope JJ and MBIII don't fumble while trying to get extra yards. Just go down and don't force anything. I hope Bledsoe just throws the ball away if there is nothing down field or goes to his check down receiver.

These are just my thoughts, I'm getting more and more pumped for this game as the day goes on. I just would like to see a win, I don't care if we win by one or 10, just get the win.

First you say, "I would like to see us come out swinging.", ... and then you say, "I hope JJ and MBIII don't fumble while trying to get extra yards. Just go down and don't force anything. I hope Bledsoe just throws the ball away if there is nothing down field"

Boy, you are pumped, aren't you ?

I can't wait for the game to get here either.

your formula would give us an undefeated season if we followed it to the T every week.......great ideas, but even when you be smart about being aggressive, you still leve yourself volnerable in other areas.....theres always something wrong with a play, you just hope it doesnt get discovered.......but I like what you're saying, and I think if we execute well in the manner you described, we'll run the table easily, but I dont know if it can happen like it did last time!

I honestly don't think anyone has any good idea of what we'll do tonight.

One could point to the 1st game w/Philly and say don't mess with success but then we have been more often than not, very conservative and with Philly being TO-less and Julius now back I think its very possible we play this one close to the vest.

I'll bet Parcells loves the mystery he has created about his team. There just isn't a strong book yet on this Dallas team.

I sure hope we don't need a late FG to win it. From what I've seen of Suisham at this point, give me Cortez.

What in Gods name makes you say that? Squishy hasnt missed a kick yet, and BP said himself that he's had some REALLY good practices....I say let the kid do his job, andif he folds, get him outta here, but until now, he's given us no reason not to have faith in him!

i am just hoping we dont come out flat,, out of timing and stuff. This is what scares me most about a bye week and a young team. I think we have alot more talent than the eagles do,, but if we don't come out sharp, its going to be along night. The eagles can't beat us,, but we can beat ourselves.

Uhhh, except the fact that he was spraying his kicks all over the place in warmups before his debut.

Then the only 'tests' he got in game conditions were absolute gimmes, at home, in a non-competitive game.

I'm not one of those that believes our kicking game automatically got better just because we cut Cortez.

If the guy was that nervous in warmups... well lets just say that I hope he nails his first 40 yarder so that no monkeys even think about climbing on his back.

I wish him well. We need a reasonably reliable kicker.

What Im looking for....

I'm expecting PHILLY to come out swinging, bc with all the talk of their new lack of offense i think they will try to prove otherwise. What I'm looking for is us to REACT not neccesarilly respond. Response takes thought, reaction just happens. I don't want us to just let the game proceed , i'd LOVE to see us just attack right back.

Mark it down, Philly's first possesion will include a looooooooong pass or a trick play. If the play is successful, either by a completion or more than likely a PI call....I think the Boys are in for a long night. If the play goes our way....let the dogfight begin!!!

This is the type of game where you look for a WIN....no matter how.

Usually I'm one that wants to win in a convincing fashion dominating the entire game...feels good.

This game...just win baby...does not matter how. Run it throw it, punt return...don't care.

I think we need to do like Atlanta did, get Lynn Scott to get into Trotters face and have them both kicked out of the game. LOL. Seriously though Dallas players need to play with emotion but don't let the emotions cause you to do stupid things. Controlled aggression is what is needed.
