Default looking ahead

seattle has locked up their division with a record of (7-2) and essentially a 4 game lead. they're playing for a first round bye.

chicage is (5-1) and (3-0) in conference and division play respectively. they have a commanding 2 game lead over minny and detroit with a better division record.

if the cowboys win tonight, then that leaves six teams vying for four playoff spots.

dall (5-2)
nyg (5-2)
wash (5-2)

caro (5-1)
atl (3-2)
tampa (4-2)

key matchups:

dall - det, @nyg, @wash, @car, stL
nyg - philly, @seattle, dall, @philly, @wash
wash - @stL, @arz, dall, nyg, @philly

caro - @chi, atl, tampa, @n.o., dall, @atl
atl - tampa, @det, @caro, n.o., @chi, @tampa, caro
tampa - @atl, chi, @n.o., @car, atl, n.o.

on the surface, washington seems to have the easiest schedule. three road conference games vs sub .500 teams.
atlanta has the hardest with seven conference games.

an (8-4) conference record should get you into the playoffs
