This isn't that different than the other rankings.....

They have the star at 4, but that's a mistake, they have the Seahawks there. All their pictures don't lineup.

We're at 7.

Rising in the power rankings doesn't give the Cowboys respect. Rising a few spots in a media-generated power ranking doesn't really mean much respect-wise... It's information, but that's about it...

Beating the teams you're supposed to beat in a superior offensive display generates respect.

Beating the teams with a defensive effort that is so dominate that the team doesn't know what hit them generates respect...

Beating the teams that are considered contenders, generates respect.

Playing the games until the final seconds and winning out generates respect..

Not for nothing, but why do we care what the media says?

When we s*ck and they blast us, we call them mediots and claim an anti-Cowboy conspiracy.

When we finally start to win, and they jump on our tails, we're all smug and happy.

Who cares what the media thinks???

The only thing that I care about the media caring, is for our players.

See.. I'm not only a Dallas fan, but I'm a players fan. I don't like seeing fantastic players not get the respect that they deserve, but are often overlooked on our team. I want those players to reap the benefits, get recognized, get called one of the best in the league, and I want them to enjoy it.

The players do enough and fight hard enough for the team. I wasn't only rooting for the Cowboys last night, I was rooting for Bill Parcells. Plain and simple, I wanted a win, for him. He deserves it, he's done alot for us. About time to see one of those games come our way. But I want him to get credit, I want the media to recognize how great of a job he did this offseason, how great a job he's done in general. He deserves alot of respect, and that's why I care.
