Why would the Ravens, who have Jamal Lewis, trade back to their original pick to take another RB?

I think it was New England via trade with Baltimore for Kyle Boller. New England traded for Corey Dillon. Won't go RB at 21.

You'd have to ask the good doctor, brah. According to him, insurance incase Lewis's drug charges keep him out. Z has Baltimore trading back to 21 because no one the Patsies need will be available. Here's a link to the article..

Nothing would infuriate me more than to see Steven Jackson be taken in the pick directly in front of us at 21. I mean seriously... if Jackson is still there at #20, there has to be SOMETHING we can package along with our 1st round pick that doesn't involve another draft pick to move up a measly 2 spots..

First and foremost, I want our 1st rounder to be a starter for the next 5+ years. Dallas could draft a RB in the 3rd round and they would start over Hambrick next year. However, I'm not convinced that either of the 1st round prospects would solidify the RB position for the next 5+ years.

I am starting to get the feeling that Jackson WILL be a Cowboy.

Just call it a warm feeling I got from late night chat

Unless Detroit uses the #5 on him.

We're setting ourselves up for a big let down fellas. Too many teams in front like Jackson and limited picks and an unwanted LA aren't enough to jump em all.

I'm willing to be wrong though..

i'm sure he said more or less the same thing about every team in the league that might draft him.

Nah, all that he has to do is tell every other team "Don't draft me, cuz I won't play for you." After all, if it can work for Eli...........

On a scale of 1 to 10 rate how happy you'd be tomorrow if we got him in the first.

Mine would be a 10 easily. I don't think there is a player out there who gives this team a bigger push to the next level than this guy. Perfect for Parcells system.

Does the scale jump to 100? If so...100 on the happy scale!!!

Kevin Jones would be an 8.5

They typed Philly in the first question, but I'm guessing that's a typo and Ballou really said Dallas. Either that or Jackson is easily confused..

Complete Interview
Sigh...if only...
