What I heard BP say was 9-0 if turnovers were in the 0 to + range. They were 1-6 with - TOs in a game. Resulting in more emphasis in TOs this training camp.

Really? I'm curious, why do you say this?
I'm surprised to see this from you, being a big QC fan.

It's doubly strange considering that PArcells said just yesterday that Q has a leg up on everyone else.
I think you heard something that wasn't there, at this point, Nors.

Maybe it was that 50,000th reference to Vinnie's "wonderful physical condition", Wulfie.
I'm not convinced from 'tone' Bill is leaning towards putting Vin behind center.
But he sure sounds like he's leaning towards putting him in the Smithsonian.

I think EG will quickly become a favorite of Parcells. I have seen three pictures (and they appear to be a different times) of Parcells standing over George talking to him. I think Parcells will be smart how he uses him and makes sure he doesn't wear out midway through the year.

Yes, I have noticed that!
Did you hear the beginning of the press conf, JJ, and Bill saying "Terry is not the top player personnel guy around here, BUT.." lmao
Bill got a raving EG review from TG and also from Dinap, the two guys who have played with Eddie. Tuna explained that when he asks a player's opinion of another it is not about how good he is, but about how he will "fit in". Since Terry very well knows what kind of O Bill runs and wants, and what it takes to thrive under Parcells, his take would be valuable. I think it is interesting how Bill works that player-coach-system evaluation.
So much for a JJ/BP rift on George. Tuna was soliciting scouting reports from his own players.

That is a great point. The media will try to create a problem even if one does not exist. It would be a huge story and would generate a ton of attention.

No Parcells team has ever made the top 10 for the season in YPC.

He said last year you don't have to average 5 YPC to make play action work you just have to show the defense that you WILL run the ball. Another Carter excuse shot to hell.

Why do folks need to keep stirring this sort of thing up? The guys are on the field and Bill will choose the best QB. If its Quincy, then it is Quincy. If not, its not.
But I never understood people labeling it an excuse about how the defense plays you. Guess what, if the defense plays prevent all day should we be excited if the RB averages 5 YPC? Of course not.... If the defense plays 8/9 in the box, should we be impressed if the QB has a great day? No way....
But when the defense plays 7 in the box and still stops our running game and our QB is relegated to dump offs or forcing the ball into coverage, should we be suprised that his stats show it?
Quincy has things he needs to improve on, no doubt, but on this board of pretty dang informed football fans, I would at least expect that we avoid all the fantasy football/Madden mentalities. Or maybe not...

You know Bill Parcells "Style" a lot better then I do, but I'm pretty sure he's not the type of coach that would "Lean" towards any player after only 2 days of practice. He'll start "Leaning" after a Preseason game.
