Nors makes good points and I love the idea of using more 4/6....But to me, the players that made that Bears system work was the LBers, Wilber Marshall & Otis Wilson...(With Singletary cleaning up)
I also think Parcells is smart enought to know Roy could be a HUGE weapon on D playing closer to the LOS and causing havouc!...But to make that work, we need a TRUE FS to be able to make plays in coverage...My money is on Davis vs Dixon in that role...

I have to disagree with Zimmer being labled as only passive and predictable. The improvements in personnel have allowed him to be more aggressive last year and possibly even more this year. Bills presence certainly helps Zimmer, but having better talent provides more options.
I remember in the 2002 season against the Rams. At a critical part late in the game, Zimmer called for Roy to just blitz. It wasn't part of a package that they practiced, he just drew it up in the sand. It also worked as it freed up Ellis to get a sack.
