What could we really get in draft for trading LeGlover DT?
Hey guys, what do you think we really can get for Glover in the upcoming draft? To me, maybe a # 2 and a # 4, that would really help. Then, looks like we are looking at Manny Lawson and Gabe Watson in upcoming draft or another outside linebacker.
If we can trade down to about the 21st spot or 24th, not any lower I am thinking, then we can get another # 3 draft pick or # 2 if trade lower from 18th to about the 24th. I remember when we traded with the Chiefs one year, moved down to about 2-3 spots, we got a # 3 pick with swap of #1's and another 5th draft pick best I remember.
That would really load us for another super draft, our own # 1, 2 and 3 plus a #2 & 4 or 5 for Glover, and a # 2 or 3 for trading down. that would give us 6 picks in first 4 rounds. Jimmy Johnson proved the theory, more draft picks you have, more choice of players you can take, maybe miss one, but hit on others. To me, we need another super draft with players that want to play and have the heart.

You could get a 5th or maybe a 4th round pick for Glover give his contract status couple with the fact that everyone knows the Cowboys are looking for 3-4 personnel.

LOL.., The only way any team would give up a pick for a player in Glover position is if one team really wants him bad and does not want to get into a bidding war with other teams who they may feel also has an interest. Even in that case your talking a day 2 pick at best.

This guy has been to 5 of the last 6 probowls. He's a team player. I predict a trade with a restructered contract. He could put a team over the hump for the playoffs or provide vet leadership to a young team.
He has value, lots of it.

But why would he restructure when he can make more money on the open market after he's released?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Can you say you're certain he'll be released if he isn't traded?
While you're at it, who are we drafting?
