He came into the season last year in great shape. If he can strengthen his shoulders and ankles enough, he should be able to make it through the season. His talent will take care of the rest.

* fingers crossed *

He got rolled up from behind- no amount of conditioning, etc would make any difference for any player under those conditions. Any player in the league would have had the same injury.

One factor with field turf seems to be the ubiquitous high ankle sprain.

I had a high ankle sprain <ouch> and I think a girl one time gave me some ubiquitous but I can't be sure now
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a great ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair....Bertrand Russell

No doubt. Julius had a couple games when he showcased his talent and speed when the Oline had a decent day. The kid racked up damn near 1000 with that pathetic bunch "blocking" for him.
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.

God help us...............
