Default RUMOR: Charles Woodson interested in playing FS for Cowboys?

Someone on the Cowboys board at ESPN is saying that 610AM in Houston reported that Charles Woodson wants to play FS for the Cowboys. Said something to the effect of Woodson feels he can stay healthier covering smaller areas instead of running down field with #1 WRs. Did anyone else hear this?

I'd rather have Darren Woodson.

But hell, let's do something with all this cap room.

Going to depend on how much he wants to be paid to play FS.

Sounds like a large heaping mound of BS to me.

But if it's true, to play FS, I'd bring him in.

I think he is willing to play FS because no teams have scheduled him for a visit at CB. He would make a great FS and provide insurance in case one of Dallas's CBs goes down. I don't think he will stay healthier playing FS though. He will have to make alot more tackles at that postion.

One would think that with the lack of interest for his services and his history of injuries that he wouldn't be asking for too much money.

What injury does Woodson exactly have? Or is it just an accumulation of an assortment of injuries which occurred over time?

How old is Charles Woodson? Isn't he only one year older than Newman?

isnt Woodson's agents also the Postons? If so, I'm sure they will ask for a ridiculous contract (as always)

that combined with total inability to stay healthy and the rumors that he has become a "dog" on the practice field make me rather wait for the draft and get somebody young with alot more upside

David

A new era begins

If we signed him, we would possess the record for signing the biggest group of malcontents in one FA season. Might as well go for Arrington. Lets bust this record wide open.
