67 Team - Can You Put Name w/Number?
Lifted this picture from another thread (thanks silverbear!)
How many of these Cowboys from the 1967 team picture can you name? No looking it up folks - that's no fun!
Do it from memory.
Don't list the names just yet. Just post how many you can attach a name to. We'll make you prove it a bit later.
I think I can name 18 or 19 right now.

Well, lets see,
Right to left, top to bottom:
Jethro Pugh (75), don't recognize the other two, next guy might be Clark, 5th guy is the kicker and I don't remember his name. Second from the end on the right is Norman and the last guy on the right IS Rayfield.
Next row, I don't know the first two guys on the end from the left but the third guy from the left is George Andre. 68 I don't know, 71 is Towns (I think), 72 I don't know, 73 is Neely, 74 is Mr. Cowboy his self.
Next Row, 46 I don't know, guy with no hair is Jerry Tubbs, 52 is Edwards, 53 I don't know. Guy with the flat top is Chuck Howley. Neanderthal next to him is Lee Roy Jordan. 56/57 I don't know.
Next Row, Don't know, don't know, don't know but 30 is Dan Reeves. Guy next to him is Cornell Green. 35 might be Garrison but I don't know for sure. 37 I don't know. Guy on the end on the right, 43 is Don Perkins.
Next Row, 11 I don't know, 13 might be Jerry Rhome, 14 is Craig Morton, 19 is Rentzel, 20 is Mel Renfro, 21 I don't have a clue but 22 is Bob Hayes.
How'ed I do?

I know #32 Walt Garrison played for this team but I a can't find him on the picture
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a great ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair....Bertrand Russell

Yeah, I don't who 35 is then but I would bet Walt Garrison isn't in the photo because he was still out on Rodeo Tour.

Yeah, but I would not have remembered him or recognized him. I knew Walt was on that team so I figured 35 was him.
