Groceries!!!!!!
I see why Kraft did not allow Bill to buy the groceries. This guy pick up players that will be cut by the first mini camp. Bill can't draft to save his life. If we did not have such a high pick in the 2003 draft ,the same results as this year draft would've been duplicated.

And don't be surprised if we end up trading down with one of our 1st round picks come next year either. People can say all they want and try to sugar coat it all they want but this was not a great draft.
The only way for this draft to even be halfway respectable is if Julius Jones ends up being an absolute stud and Jackson ends up being a complete bust.
If that doesn't happen then we'll be regretting this draft much like we regretted passing on Moss.
I'm expecting two possible starters out of all our picks and a lot of camp fodder.

Im not happy with the late round draft picks and the risk we are taking on passing on Jackson. If Jones doesn't turn out to be good we will be looking for another RB in the draft next year. I think we shouldve taken Jackson and had completly different picks from the 4th round on.

Dumb post.
To any and everyone who has attempted to constructively criticize me, you sincere efforts in assisting me to help myself have unfortunately been in vain - for I have failed both all of you and myself. Totally agree with you. I'm just hoping that Parcells and Jerruh are right in their comment that the backs were closely related.

We get a stud, the guy everyone WANTED us to take is a bust, AND we get a future first, and it would be "halfway decent"???
You can't possibly be so near-sighted as to say if Jones an absolute stud and Jackson a bust that this would make the draft "halfway respectable". I know you are hell-bent on criticizing, but be real. It what you said happened, it wouldn't be "half-way respectable", it would be an outright coup. And Jerry and Parcells would look like geniuses.

The danger of gigantic egos with no one to hold them in check, is that sometimes they make moves on draft day for the sake of making moves...rather than just sitting patiently, allowing the draft to come to them, taking the BPA and moving on to the next pick.
It's not THAT difficult.
Jerry and Bill LOVE to gamble. Well, they did.
Let's see how it works out.

I DON'T REGRET PASSING ON MOSS. THERE WILL BE AT LEAST 4 STARTERS FROM THIS DRAFT: Julius Jones, Jacob Rogers, Stephen Peterman PLUS THE 1ST ROUNDER NEXT YEAR. IN ADDITION TERRY GLENN CAME WITH THE 6TH PICK.

And the best part is these won't be Derrick Ross type starters. In his press conference Parcells talked at length about how talent isn't the only thing you have to look at. He looks at the players for character, if they are injury prone, work ethic etc. You can bet the ones that make the team will be smart hard working high character type guys that won't be gone in a few years.

Let me guess.....You're one of those, "What have you done for me lately" people right?
I bet you were one of the people last year who said, "YES, AWESOME DRAFT!! Good thing Parcells is here to show Jerry how to draft!"
Sheeesh..!
