I thought he was a pretty lousy QB... but if he can play WR than he becomes more valuable. He would still be a project but you have to like the upside

I wonder how well he can catch? Did he play any WR at the Senior Bowl, etc?

I don't have the numbers but if I was to guess I would say high 4.4's or low 4.5's

He ran a 4.49
Leadership is getting someone to do what they don't want to do, to achieve what they want to achieve.

PFW says: "too errratic a passer and lacks great timing and anticipation. Will make some poor decisions and tends to be streaky. Does not read the field well. Is a project at WR who needs to learn how to run routes. Has never been asked to block and struggled to beat the jam at the Hula Bowl. Can get stronger. Might be hesitant to play anywhere but QB"
(read, I am going to be joining Quincy Carter in the CFL)

If we're interested in a WR, why not draft a WR? Not some rehashed QB turned WR.
I don't get it.

I will take a guess at this and it is only a guess but maybe its because most WR prospects this year suck

My thoughts exactly. If he isn't willing or able to make the transition to WR in the NFL then the CFL might be his next home.
Captain Nathan Brittles: "Only the man who commands can be blamed. It rests on me... mission failure!"
"Jerry Jones is a billionaire fan who bought his own team for the express purpose of buying his way into the game. He wants to hang out with the players, stand in front of the cameras, be the face of the team (yech), make personnel moves as if this were a video game, and more than anything else, be seen as the guy who made it all happen."

Disappointing. I hope JJ isn't going back to his "project" days. Drafting projects in the top rounds in the hopes their athletic ability will translate onto the field.
If the WR is poor this year, we can wait for next year. But I think we need to address the issue soon.

I agree and I don't want to draft the guy at all but as a UFA and stick on the practice squad for a year or 2...

.....when a guy's rushing average is the same as his yards per passing attempt, usually, that's not a good thing.

But hey, doesn't that mean he has a "soft touch" on his passes?
