He is not my first choice as the player I want us to take, but I wouldn't shed a tear if we took him...

After watching his highlight videos I really like how he goes right at a OT. He obviously has alot of power and good speed. Who ever Ireland likes the best is my man.
I had an apartment and I had a neighbor, and whenever he would knock on my wall I knew he wanted me to turn my music down and that made me angry 'cause I like loud music... so when he knocked on the wall, I'd mess with his head. I'd say, "Go around! I cannot open the wall! I dunno if you have a doorknob on your side but over here there's nothin'. It's just flat."

Amen brother.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I totally agree. He just doesn't try to run a long loop around the tackle like so many one dimensional speed rusher. He gets the OT back on his heels right off the snap and he can then take an outside or inside move from that point. That's what the great ones do. Unfortunately, I think he's going to Cleveland at #12.

I believe he will go anywhere from #12 to #24. With that said, if Wimbley goes first, then Lawson should be available at pick #18 and vice versa. I really want Lawson though, but after watching footage of Wimbley, I wouldn't be disappointed if was our man. Carpenter looked good to but I am not convinced that he is SOLB material yet.
