And what's not to love about Bush?? Sorry I don't get it. But then again, I saw him play almost every game this season.
|
Not saying he cant be replaced. I am saying that That is a ton of money to tie up in a position when there are so many other holes.
Bush is an incredible athlete. So is Michael Vick.
My problem with Bush is the talent he faced overall as a player. Not to mention the talent he was surrounded by.
I hope that he makes me a believer. I simply am not sold.

I'm not saying they won't trade down... I'm saying they would consider Bush. I mean if no one wants to trade into #2 they have to take somebody.

Indications are Bush will be the next GREAT back... You're not buying those, thus I'll reserve my judgment on whether Walker has "come back" from an ACL tear.

Based on what ?
People thought Brian Bosworth was a sure thing, people thought that Shuler was a sure thing, the list goes on and on.

this is what I'm saying, I'm not saying they won't take Bush, just with Deuce, they'll be very willing to trade down to acquire more picks and use their 1st elsewhere, and they'll probably find a very willing trade partner in San Fran
and sure thing? Mario Williams, but he's a Texan

Based on my opinion, Chico.
Why are you here anyway? Oh that's right. Skins fans have nothing to get excited about on draft day.
J/k.
And you obviously didn't read my post. Please go back and read it again. I don't feel like repeating myself.

Williams is already doomed.
1) He's being compared to Reggie White. No freakin' way is he the next Reggie White.
2) He's a Texan.

That's fine that you're not sold yet, but how can you discount him because of the talent around him, or the talent he played. Everyone in the draft played against college talent. That's what scouts are looking at. What a guy did in college, his measurables, and how his talent will translate into the NFL game. Taking all that into account, 21 out of 26 teams polled by the DMN said Bush was the #1 player on their boards.
What do you know that they don't? You think it's because he played against bad defenses? Everyone plays against inferior talent at some point in their college career. He ran up 513 total yards against Fresno State last year. I don't care who you are, that's ridiculous. Did I mention the Notre Dame game? The Rose Bowl, admittedly not his best game, he still had over 200 total yards... one costly fumble, but that was his first ALL YEAR!

I think Gale Sayers is overated. People say "the next Gale Sayers". IMO Tony Dorsett was better then Sayers. And Bush is VERY similiar to Dorsett.
IS he the Next Dorsett/Sayers? Not yet.
CAN he be? Absolutely. He DOES have the skills to be just as good as those two.

I'm just wondering if Bush will even be able to beat out Deuce
