Of the current Cowboys I'd like to meet Witten and Newman.

Of former Cowboys I guess it would be Aikman, Irvin and Emmitt now since I have already meet Staubach, Pearson and Dorsett.

Man, that is SO hard. For years, it was Roger by a mile. Then Emmitt came along, and slowly but surely, he became not only my favorite Cowboy, but my favorite NFL player of all time.

So, I guess it would have to be Emmitt, with Roger the next afternoon. I would love to pick my man's brain about what he was thinking during all those great moments in his career. Like when he played with the dislocated shoulder for the second half against the Giants, or during the drive against the Bills in Super Bowl XXVIII, when he put the team on his shoulders, then shouted at the cameras after finishing it off with that awesome touchdown.

My meeting with Roger would be at Texas Stadium, running routes for him. Man, can you imagine taking throws from Captain America on the Texas Stadium turf?? I know he can still whip it. He & his buddies kicked Troy's team's butt in an exhibition not too long ago. Playing catch with Troy would be a hoot, too, but I don't know if I could grab some of his heaters..........
It sure would be fun to try, though.

Troy Aikman without a doubt.

Not just because I grew up being a major fan of his and he helped guide the Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories, but given his current status as an elite broadcaster and still being around the game I imagine he could give one quite an education about the NFL.

Troy Aikman for me too. But for record, I am not much into meeting stars etc. Unless its like a accidental thing. So I probably would never approach him.

Second one would be Irvin. Now thats a guy I would love to party with Unfortunately I don't do drugs nor can even fathom doing that though Irvin sure seems like would be fun even without any mind altering substances

Hos, Roger was also my childhood hero. Now, my DAD is.

You just never know. You might get to meet Roger one of these days.

I always wanted to meet Roger, but never thought it was possible.

When I first started collecting memorabilia and started going to sports cards shows, I learned that he occasionally made appearances, so that gave me hope. 10 years later, I finally meet him.

Now, I look forward to meeting Danny White.

#12. You really need an explaination?

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Jerry Jones.

He's been there the longest of the current crew.

I could hear some great stories about the 90's Cowboys, the Parcells Cowboys, and all the crap inbetween.

If Landry or Schramm were still alive, I'd pick them, a lot longer period to cover.

Roger Staubach would be my first choice. Barring that, I think I'd like to talk to the Cowboys-turned writers, myself. Guys like Pete Gent and Pat Toomay come to mind.

Finally in deference to the Cowboy my dad liked best, I sure wouldn't mind sharing a Coors with Bob Lilly.

David.
