I like Floyd, The Beatles, The Who and all the other usual suspects (except Springsteen, Van Morrison and Elvis- can't really get into these three, although I certainly respect them.)
I have recently gotten into:
Scott Walker- scary stuff
The White Stripes- the last two albums have been awesome
Spoon- very underrated band from Austin
Stevie Wonder- I feel great shame that is has taken me this long
Brian Eno- Always knew him as a producer, but his own stuff is great too

Mostly, I can't stand Sinatra and the whole "schtick"
Maybe this will help you out...
The biggest show in town is Huckleberry Hound
For all you guys and gals.
The biggest clown in town is Huckleberry Hound
With all his cartoon pals.
It's Huckleberry fun, it's for everyone,
So come on, gather 'round.
Get yourself all set,
Turn on your TV set
For Huckleberry Hound.
That oh, so merry, Chuckleberry,
Huckleberry Hound.
