Default Got Petitti's Autograph and told him to tell Pittdawg to keep postin!

Petiti looked impressive to me Monday. He is in better shape and despite getting hit hard by D Line guys he would stay in great position and recover from initial contact. At end of PM practice he stayed late with a coach and worked footwork and hand punch/position as he got back into strength stance for that contact with DE. He did get pushed back a bit in some of the initial frst contacts with DE's on drills, but noone got past him. This might be why he was doing the extra work so that he would be set on collisions and would maintain his ground. His better conditioning and strength sure let him recover fast each time though, and like I said noone got around or thru him.

He came to fence after staying late and I got his sig on my cap and he laughed when I told him to "tell you DAD the Pittdawg to keep posting for us on the Internet". Nice guy. Huge. I'm 230 pounds, 6 feet, and work out and he made me feel like a peanut. Classy, friendly, humble guy. Nodded and said Ok to pump us up on forums to his Dad. Was fun meeting him.

He is a thick guy with big natural build that he's working on. Not as wide as naturally wide as Flo or maybe even Columbo but has the better natural barrel chest and thick body and legs. Gonna be a tank for us for a long while I think. Great attitude.

Thought I'd share that as well about Monday.

That's great to hear Larry. I really like this kid and have high hopes for him.
Captain Nathan Brittles: "Only the man who commands can be blamed. It rests on me... mission failure!"

"Jerry Jones is a billionaire fan who bought his own team for the express purpose of buying his way into the game. He wants to hang out with the players, stand in front of the cameras, be the face of the team (yech), make personnel moves as if this were a video game, and more than anything else, be seen as the guy who made it all happen."

first, thanks for the nice comments on rob. don't worry about my posting, i will whenever i think i have something to add.

second, i want all to know that rob shares your enthusiasm for the cowboys and is trying to make himself into the type of player that cowboy fans will enjoy watching play. he has worked his butt off and i hope that is enough to keep him moving forward.

I like this kid. I'm sure you all are tired of hearing me say that. He played every snap, a lot of them injured and a lot of them wondering "***?" He manned up, took his beatings and never cried uncle. Not once. I love the under dogs. (Matter of fact, when in discussion I refer to him as "Under Dog." Anyone remember that cartoon?)
He looks great. Looks a little "seasoned" even. He's gonna be a Dallas Cowboy hero before it's all said and done. Yes sir, the 6th round draft choice who was given a chance and proved a lot of folks wrong.

EDIT : Oh yeah. Thanks a ton Larry.....you lucky Bastid!!!!
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.

God help us...............
