I have yet to hear anyone speak ill of this great man. There is a reason for that.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray, Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8. |

Landry was quite the innovator when it came to football...
He was a Christian man first, husband and father second, coach third... However, he was a hard man to deal with, I've read...he was hard nosed, never cussed, but he ridiculed players with the best of them... Bum knee and all, he still "ran the hill" with his team everyday, passing by players telling them to "hurry up...keep up"...  Now he has a real comfortable place to sit and look down at the Cowboys...and watch them play the game he loved... What a great person....
