Blog RECAP: Mickey with D&M on The Ticket

  • It (HoF) was a really good thing. I was shocked at the number of Cowboy fans. Going through on Friday I ran into fan after fan from all over the country. It was amazing how many #8 jerseys were there. It looked like half there were wearing them. Realitically it was at least a 1/3. ESPN knew what they were doing by saving him for last. Most everyone stayed to see him.
  • I thought Rayfield and Troy had the best two speeches. Rayfield did a great job of delivering his story while teaching a lesson to young kids and coaches. Aikman was his usual humble self. It was never about him.
  • I don't know right now if TO will be back today. I would imagine he's had enough time off but I don't know since I haven't been there. I don't know if anything is going on there, although people would like to make something of it.
  • I was sitting in the pressbox next to these writers from Philly and they were making fun of everything that was being said. I finally got tired of it so I got up and went to sit with the Cowboy contingent.
  • The neat thing afterward is that each inductee gets their own personal party. It was nice to see all of those 70's Cowboys with Rayfield. Troy had many of the 90's team at his party. It was really neat to see. Rayfield had The Temptations and Troy had Pat Green.
  • I gotta go, it looks like Jeff Mroz time here has ended.

So Phillies run at being rude and offending is alive and well. Nice to see that even the HOF can't bring out an ounce of class from these bums.

So I see the lack of class doesn't end with the fans.

Thanks TB...

I thought the Eagles offense looked like our dink and dunk where KEy would get about 2 yards a catch with every third one imcomplete and oh its time to punt, without TO they got nothing they'll put eight guys in the box to stuff the run...

Filthy is just jealous of the success our franchise has had. Don't trip that's the way they'll be that's why karma hits them twice as hard

How could anyone who has covered the Cowboys for umpteen years be "shocked at the number of Cowboys fans"?

... I've always recognized Wahington as our biggest rivals, but I'll tell ya nothing and I mean nothing matches the hatred I have for the Eagles and especially their fans.

Whether it be Buddy Ryan, or as I like to call him, Beelzebub and his calling of a t/o so he could run up the score on Landry's Cowboys ... or who could forget the now legendary classlessness of Eagle fans cheering and doing everything but the wave when Irvin had his career ending injury at the Vet.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I've never met an Eagle fan I could stand to be in the same room as for 5 minutes. Their ridiculous and unwarranted arrogance in the face of being in the same division with teams that have won a combined 10 superbowls, while having none of their own is unparallaled.

Yep I'm sure of it, I hate em, one and all.
