Default Crown's Roster

Soooooooooooo...I knoooooow it's only a week into camp. And I knoooooooooow it's too early for this. BUT - Parcells is reported to have decided on his 48, so guess what!?? It's time for ROSER PREDICTIONS 2006!!!

OFFENSE:
QB: Bledsoe, Romo, Henson
RB: Jones, Barber III, Thompson, Polite
TE: Witten, Fasano, Hannam, Ryan
OT: Adams, Columbo, Pettiti, McQuistan
OG: Rivera, Kosier, Proctor
C: Gurode, Johnson
WR: Owens, Glenn, Crayton, Hurd, Green

(25 Players)
DEFENSE:
DE: Spears, Canty, Hatcher, Ratliff
DT: Ferguson, Johnson, Stanley
OLB: Ware, Ellis, Singleton, Burnett,
ILB: James, Carpenter, Ayodele, Boiman
CB: Newman, Henry, Glenn, Reeves, Jones
S: Williams, Davis, Watkins, Coleman

(24 Players)

Special Teams:

K: Vanderjacht
P: Mat MacBrier
LS: Ladoucewoiufassoiuoiu
Kickoff Specialist (I Know, it stinks) Suisham

I know Boiman is an outside guy - I think you will realistically replace Burnett to the inside and put Boiman outside. Doesn't matter - he'll only play ST.

I considered taking off Marcus Coleman and putting Terrance Copper of Jamaica Rector...but I didn't. I just won't be shocked if there is no Coleman.

Someone will say I don't have enough TE - but I think Polite makes the team in lieu of a 5th.

Again - I understand it's only a week into camp - but after these players, there just isn't so much talent other than WR that these seem to be so questionable. Hopefully we can get another roster spot instead of a kickoff specialist and put Kenyon Coleman or another LBer in.

I also considered only taking 2 DT, since Stanley is unimpressive. I decided against that, though, and left 3 in, knowing that injuries there would be bad bad news.

McQ is going to have to be a stud to make it over Fabini.

I considered that - neither of them have sounded to be too good right now, McQ has the upside that he is young and possibly can grow, but that is also his downside. Fabini has the upside that he is older and has experience, but he moves like Stonehenge.

Suisham as a KO Specialist? If I remember correctly, he was mediocre at best on kickoffs last year.

He's probably no better than Vandy. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If he is no better than Vandy, great. I just seem to remember hearing him practice them more than Vandy. I might be wrong on that.

Suish averaged 59 yards last year. Vander's last 3 seasons kicking off regularly averaged 59, 60, and 58.

Neither is so good.

Ug. In that case I hope we bring someone else to compete. As bad as Cundiff was at field goals, he was a very good kickoff guy. We need that field position.

I have heard Vanderjagt argue that he doesn't get great length but he has good hangtime. He rarely kicks TBs though so it puts alot of pressure on the return units.

If I had to bet, I think that Bill will go into the season without a KO specialist but won't hesitate to bring one in after a bad game.

No Peterman, no Beriault (long-shot now)--both injured now.
We'll see if they can get on the field and show anything.

Neither of those players even made my pre-training camp roster.

Soooo...no differing opinions? No 'Are you crazy?!?" replies?

Are we that locked in our positions already? If so, what a departure from years past.
