Default Greatest Player in DallasCowboys Franchise History

Mike and Mike on ESPN radio are doing a segment on the best player in each franchise. A skin fan started a similar thread @ extremeskins.

What do you guys think?

I thought it would be easy, but it wasn't. Bob Lily got my vote.

My favorite player ever is Michael Irvin.

Me too.

There's something to a WR that catches a TD then throws a karate chop followed up by a ninja kick.

That guy had fire and ability.

It can't be done... Not for the Cowboys or some other teams...

lets take the friggin 9ers for example

Montana well then Rice gets no mention what so ever

Da Bears

Payton... what about Butkus and Sayers

The Packers

Starr... Farve...Forrest..

there are just some teams that it can't be done on and be fair... now if this were the Bengals we were talking about then it might be easier

I love it. I was in the stands when Irvin caught the game tying TD pass(he smothered Darrel Green) from Troy in 1999 season opener against the Skins.

It's amazing how Irvins antics can silence 70,000 people. It was great.

I just have to go with Emmitt - Won 3 Superbowls with him and he is the All time leader in rushing yards.

Don't get much better than that.

roger staubach. humble yet talented football player, inspirational leader, god-fearing and dedicated family man, successful entrepenuer... i could go on and on. this man is clean as a whistle. he could run for governor in this state. he is the best example of "character" i have seen on this team. bill would take a six-pack of 'em.

Lusaka Polite. Spent many a Sunday watching this guy hammer the opposition while serving time. Did a nickel for lying to the IRS about my "offshore interests". Never could figure out why prison beds made me wake up with a sore hinder, though.
