Default Our new O

QB- Carter, Henson, Hutch
Rb- Julius , Ham, Cason
FB- Anderson, "Repenter" , Martin
WR- Key, Glenn, AB, Randall
TE- Witten, Campbell, Sean Ryan, Whalen
T- Flo, Rogers, Tucker, Vollers
G-LA,Allen, Peterman, Graham,
C-Big Al,Lehr, Dinapoli

Our new Offense - not a complete makeover but definitely upgraded. All the players in bold are guys that didn't play on the field for us last year. Our O-line looks alot better, Key is an upgrade, Henson has potential to be our Qb of the future, Julius is a big upgrade over ham. We might not have made sexy picks but we helped our offense nicely. Plus, we will have 2 picks that can contribute next year of we go offense. (Receiver)

The guy that we traded for from tampa bay. Don't know him by his name. Read the article it's somewhere on the board, you'll laugh your socks off.

Darian Barnes. We acquired him by trading down 10 spots, he is a FB. By adding him and Polite, we are extremely crowded at FB.

We aren't keeping 3 FBs. I doubt the "repenter" makes the team.

I'm actually more concerned about Martin's future. Parcells and him never seemed to click. Parcells has also lamented about how he is used to having his FBs being proficient pass catchers, blockers and special teams players. Martin does only one of the three well so he will have to elevate and broaden his game significantly if he wants to make the team next year.

There is also some sort of a personal connection between Barnes and Parcells. Some have claimed that Parcells helped him got a shot at Giants TC a couple of years ago.

If I were J Martin, I'd be practicing my pass-catching and volunteering on special teams every chance I got.

My bad guys, I think i put Allen instead of Gurode. Thanks, for the corrections.

I think our offense is going to be a lot better. we finally got a legitimate tackle with rogers, and with either LA and gurode or gurode peterman, la peterman we have some guards and we are good at Center. Our OL could finally be a strength and not a weakness. I think by next year we will be very legitimate sb contenders

We could easily keep 3 FB's, assuming they can play special teams...the new guy is over 6 foot, 250, and is a special team cover guy and blocker...JMartin is going to have to prove he can play some special teams.

Whether you keep 3 FB's or an extra CB or TE, etc falls to Special teams play...not to mention that Anderson isn't much of a blocker at FB anyway.

I believe our offense will be much improved. Keyshawn allows us to keep drives alive with his proficiency as a possession receiver on the short and intermediate route

Julius Jones is a definite upgrade over Hambrick. I still think Hambrick can be a useful change of pace back too.

The key is the o-line though. If Allen stays and more consistent; if Al Johnson recovers nicely from microfracture surgery and Gurode fulfills his potential, then the offense should be more than satisfactory

This is definitely an upgraded roster on offensive though I'd prefer to see more depth at halfback (too late, now).

I sure hope you're right about Witten - he deserves to be the starter but I have a sneaking suspicion that Campbell may "start" this year. I hope Ryan doesn't steal any of Witten's reps.

I think Witten is a huge threat and will start, but I love Campbell so either way i'm happy. Really think Witten will start. Plus, we might get some more depth at the June 1st cuts at RB. DOn't give up on RB depth just yet. We already have Jones,Hambrick and Richie are all going to have carries this year. I hope Ryan gets some snaps, he's supposed to be a hell of a blocker and a solid all around tight end. Witten and Key will give whoever our RB is some targets in the middle and Jones out of screens. It should be an upgrade, just don't know by how much yet.
