Default Steve Hutchinson is all that...

and a bag of doritos. He easily was the mvp for the Vikes last night. They continued to run to his side as he demolished defenders. He made thier running back actually look good.He may be a good fantasy pickup because of Hutchinson.

I was impressed with him as well. Just owning who ever got in his way.

Can't lie. He took Cornelius Griffin to task. It wasn't even funny. Until the third quarter, I actually thought Griffin didn't make it back from injury for the game until the announcers said he was in on a tackle. Later on, I saw a replay of him mauling Griffin on a goalline play and throwing him out of the way. Best Guard in the league, IMO.

...reason not to acquire good quality lineman? I was hoping we would make a run at him. As for Kosier, I like the acquisition also.

With hindsight I would have gone for both, passed on Vandy and Boiman, taken Longwell and T.O. and called it a day. Something tells me that Hutchinson would be good anywhere on the line other than center. I'm talking Larry Allen good.

The 20/20 vision sure comes in handy.

I'm telling you guys, Min is going to be a pretty good team this year.

They're going to challenge for a wild card spot.

Hutchinson is amazing. It's so rare that an elite player like that makes it out on the FA market. It was such a huge mistake for Seattle not to franchise him. Just look at what the Seattle rushing game did without him and the difference he made for Minny.

He is well worth the $49M even if he is "just a guard".

they challenged for it last year when they started off 2-5(with Culpep) and finished 7-2(with Johnson at the helm).
Their defense seems to be molding as well after last years preseason spending spree.

I was amazed at how easily Hutchinson handled the Skins DTs.

He made Griffin his bi#$%h last night.

Brings back memories of the 95' thru. 99' Larry Allen

I believe that Hutchinson is also the highest paid lineman in the league...bar none. He might be worth it if he stays healthy.
