Default Must Win!!!!

You all know what the curse of 0-2 does to football teams. It's not a good thing. This one is at home and also is a division game. If the Cowboys are going to do good things in 06 this one just has to be a W anything else will not be tolerated. Oh... Did I also say it was the Sunday night game. I know you all know this ,I just was not sure you had considered it all.

1.Division Game

2.Not starting 0-2

3.Sunday night game

4 RedSkins!

Not saying this is a Super Bowl team necessarily, but didn't they win it all the last time they started 0-2?

Man, you are really pushing it now! Yes but this team is nowhere a good as that team! No way this one goes 12-2 after starting 0-2 and verry few have even come close.

Every game is a must win nowadays....ESPECIALLY in the division that we are in. That's why I don't like BP's "Don't get down on yourselves, it's a long season..." crap.

We could miss out on the playoffs by ONE freakin' game. You always look back on the games that you SHOULD HAVE won, but didn't as being the ones that kept you out of the playoffs.

... losing this Sunday wouldn't necessarily mean doom and gloom. As the saying goes, on any given Sunday.

I wouldn't put our team out of it, with the talent that we have, even if we started the season at 0-4.

Of course that wouldn't be good, but we need 11-5 or 10-6 to get in to the playoffs.

This team has the capability to beat any team; on any given Sunday.

Just get this year's team IN to the playoffs; and we'll be just fine, IMO.

i think the point my Boyz was making is that 0-2 don't necessarily close us out. i'm more concerned with how dallas finishes the season. it's the hottest team at the end that carries the day. 'member the steelers last year?

That team was missing Emmitt those 2 games we are not getting Emmitt in his prime back game 3. Different story there

Well since 1990 the year the playoffs took it current format we have had only 17 of 121 teams start 0-2 and make the playoffs that ia whopping 14%. Do a search and you will see the teams that have done it.

Only one team has gone 0-4 and made the playoffs the Chargers did and finished 11-1 3 teams have gone 0-3 and made the playoffs (they are figured in the 0-2 nubers as well)

So going 0-2 means the probality of this team going to the playoffs are slim.

If we lose I am righting the season off unless we make a QB change for game 3.

Thanks, this explains the importance of this game. I did not have the numbers. only 17-121 at 0-2 ! Besides if this team is going places, they will take care of the Skins at home!?
