That's the thing that alot of people forget about Troy Aikman. Yes he had concussion problems, and the cheap shot by Arrington was the final straw, but Troy retired as much over his back problems as he did the concussion problems, and I would venture to say that it was moreso the back than the head. At one point, during his final season, Troy took his 3rd (and final) cortizone shot for his back to get through the game. I don't remember why but they explained in the telecast that a doctor would not give more than three cortizone shots to a patient. Troy took the final shot in a last desperate attempt to keep his back problem at bay, but it was dgenerating quickly and everyone, including Troy, knew it. That was TRULY the beginning of the end.

I believe Troy knows something based on his contacts with the team and i wouldn't be surprised if we see Romo pretty soon.
Wouldn't now be the time. The Redskins could be winnable w/Romo if our D gets right. Then you got a bye-week and then on to the Titans, Romo could play in that one as well. That should give Bledsoe some time to heal up if needed.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Should've been done sometime during the Jax game.
"Those young guys are freaks," he says. "They are big, physical and fast; they are phenomenal. Every time I talk about this defense, I have a smile on my face. I think we'll have an opportunity to be even better than we were in 2003."

Roy Williams talking about our much improved defense.

The Cowboys need to sign a backup quarterback and let Bledsoe sit until he is healed. Thirty-four year old quarterbacks who are prone to take a lot of hits are very slow to heal, sometimes taking months.
