Default So, who starts in T.O.'s place?

Will Crayton man the WR spot opposite Terry Glenn, assuming T.O. isn't back after the bye week? Or, will it be Sam Hurd or Jamaica Rector? Doesn't Dallas have a system where it's not a straight 1, 2, 3 depth chart, and instead certain receivers back up certain positions?

So far, TO's biggest asset is drawing defenders away from the running game. D's can't T off on our RBs and load the LOS.

With TO out ... Glenn gets the double team, and Crayton gets singled. The extra defender lines up near the LOS. This is going to hurt our running game.

Would have been nice if we invested in a solid #3 WR. Just for this particular reason. Teams are going to lay the wood on TO from now on.

Myself I like the young guys we have on this team and look forward to seeing them contribute to this team should TO not be ready for the Tenn game. I would assume Hurd will see a lot of action along with Rector

I think Crayton will take TO's spot, with a lot of Hurd and Rector sprinkled in. I would think some WR screens to Rector will be used. And especially against Tennessee i would throw some fades to Hurd.

I also understand that Hurd knows all WR positions but both Rector & Austin have the coveted speed. But then TO doesn't have speed and sure gets the job done. BTW: I thought I read someplace that Rector hurt his ankle. Don't know how bad but hopefully bye week gives enough time before Tennessee game for any injuried players (don't know of any serious injuries we had) to recover.

I think we will be alright. If they bring guys up i think what we have is still good enough to beat them. T.O. loss hurts, but I dont think it will cripple this offense

I think it would be Hurd. I don't know if Crayton knows that position. I think Rector plays Glenn's position.

If anything it pretty much takes us back to the coverage schemes of last year because no one ever doubled Keyshawn.

So the question is can one of the subs produce a bit in man coverage. I think Hurd and Rector both showed in preseason that they can get open against 1st team CB's

I think it will probably be Crayton and I hope it's Hurd as the third. I really like that guy.

If Dallas can continue to run the ball as they did last night that will help free up the younger WR. Chances are Glenn will be the man facing the double teams so it will be up to the younger guys to help move the chains along with a running game.

Remember he had that HUGE first half?
