No team is going to be offering a 1st for him and, since we already drafted Jones with a 2nd round pick, what would be the use of trading him for one?

No one is offering a 1st for JJ and why would we trade him for a 2nd when we drafted in the 2nd?

This idea that Julius Jones is the object of trade talk is insane...hello people...I seriously doubt that anyone wants him.
We like what we've seen so far...we have high hopes, but there's nothing proven in jj yet.
We used a high 2nd round pick on him...he's had two preseason games with 1 td.
What in the hell makes anyone think that there's any team in the NFL who'd give us better than we spent on him at this point??? It's crazy talk.
People are talking maybe a 5th for EG or a 6th/7th for Cason, or they're interested in one of our FB's...no one is going to give up a draft pick for Rashad Lee either for goodness sakes....he's a freakin' practice squad player with past injury who's looked good in camp...that's not even worth a 7th yet.

Unless someone offers a 1st plus, JJ is going no where. Bp passed on Jackson and KJones because JJ is the guy he wanted. And as others have said, I don't think anyone is going to offer us the same in terms of value that Lee presents to us as a young backup. The only plausable option would be a 3rd or 4th rd pick, or (crossing fingers) a capable safety to fill in for Woody (I can dream cant I) in exchange for George.

i'd be more inclined to believe trade rumors involving reshard lee - and even then i'd find it far-fetched. parcells likes a reliable running game and could have one for years with these two. sounds pretty fishy.
