Don't look now... Vanderjagt having typical Vanderjagt season...
For all the hairpulling and "We shoulda signed"'s that littered the board, the NFL's career kicking% leader at 87.5% is currently making 86 percent of his kicks this season.
I believe Vinatieri is still injured? No?

I'm glad he's made his kicks.BUT,I'm also glad we haven't had to rely on a kick to win a game!

Give me Josh Brown any day of the week and twice on Sunday. He is younger, cheaper and kicks off better. Oh yeah, and as clutch as they come. And oh yeah, he was available for a 7th rounder.

And he only misses a third of his kicks. Very impressive.

His kickoffs were darn good last weekend, let's hope for a repeat under the Monday night lights.

Yeah, I laughed a little when Parcells said that he did a good job of kicking off...he said, "I don't know what happened to him...."

He's 8-12. 0-2 from 30-39 yards.
If he'd make those kicks earlier in the games, he wouldn't have to be so...oh how did you put it.....CLUTCH.

NFL.com lists Vinatieri having played in two games this year...

Let's hope Vanderjerk can keep it up and I'm still sick when he kicks off though...

Considering we have not attempted a field goal from under twenty yards, I do not think you could contribute significantly to our team.

Kickoffs to the 5 yard line really affect you that much?
I suggest downing a few more beers before games. Should chill you out a bit.

So you don't think Seattle was just letting the market establish Brown's worth? I may be wrong, but it looks to me like it was a case of no one really believing Seattle would let him walk.
Vandy is a good kicker, I've never understood why so many people were down on him especially in light of the yahoos we've had at kicker on this team the last several years.
